The big idea
Bad experiences really annoy us. We decided to do something about it by setting up REO to make sure nobody ever gives up on an experience again. Turns out we are pretty good at it.
We have teams of researchers, designers, consultants, strategists, developers, marketeers, sales, project managers, analysts and directors; they all share one common trait: curiosity.
We are inevitably biased (as is everyone), nonetheless we like to think we have some of the most talented people in their respective fields, who work hard and enjoy life to the full.
Curiosity is great, but at times it can be difficult when people question and challenge how things are. Creating a positive environment where innovation and creativity can flourish requires self-belief and a strong culture of experimentation to try new things.
Our culture relies on openness and transparency. Culture means a lot of things, so we documented ours and openly review it, which has been hugely beneficial. For example, we believe that openness does not mean being blunt to the point of rude; it means nobody should shy away from what needs to be said, as long as they are courteous and consider their audience and environment.
