Senior Google Analytics & Data Consultant

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on analytics specialist to help drive REO's Data & Analytics capability forward. You will be the in-house expert on Google's analytics stack: GA4, BigQuery, GTM, and Looker Studio, leading client delivery across implementation, reporting, troubleshooting, and training.
While your core expertise must lie in the Google stack, experience with other enterprise analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, or FullStory is highly desirable. You will work with a range of digital tools and help clients navigate complex data challenges across multiple technologies.
You must have at least two years of agency-side experience in an analytics role, with regular exposure to clients. You are not an account manager you are a practitioner who understands data in depth and can communicate clearly and simply to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data & Analytics Consultant at REO, you will be working with household brands helping them deliver industry leading transformative digital experiences. You will lead and manage the delivery of data and analytics services, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
- Lead GA4 setup, auditing, and enhancement for large multi-brand clients
- Implement tracking via GTM and custom data layers
- Use BigQuery and Looker Studio for reporting, modelling, and insight delivery
- Communicate blockers, requirements, and findings in plain English
- Deliver tailored training and onboarding sessions for clients and internal teams
- Support privacy compliance using OneTrust and Google Consent Mode
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years in a client-facing analytics role within an agency or consultancy
- Expertise in GA4, GTM, BigQuery, and Looker Studio
- Strong communicator able to translate complex data to non-technical audiences
- Able to work independently and take ownership of live projects
- Understanding of cookie consent frameworks and tracking best practices
Desirable Technical Skills
- Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, or Tealium
- Behavioural analytics platforms (e.g. Contentsquare, FullStory)
- Broader knowledge of CRO, experimentation, and digital marketing analytics
- Familiarity with data tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Excel
Additional Skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage client expectations.
- Initiative to identify and develop additional analysis and insights.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel to client meetings and our London office.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Google and Adobe Analytics certified
