Google has set the deprecation of standard Universal Analytics July, 2023.

 

When moving to Google Analytics 4, your data from Universal Analytics will not go with you – to run complete historical comparisons and reports from 2023, using one cohesive source of truth, you should migrate and implement Google Analytics 4 as soon as possible so that all that data is available in one place.

The sooner you start collecting data from Google Analytics 4, the more historical data will be captured which will allow an effortless and trouble-free transition between Universal and GA4.
